Rare Seger Tunes Set for Release
Bob Seger is delivering a collection of rare previously unreleased material to his Midwest fans on November 24th.
Early Seger Vol. 1 will be offered exclusively through Meijer stores, while the album will also be made available on the singer/songwriter's website.
Included are 10 songs from Seger's career circa the early 70s, such as a remastered cover of the Allman Brothers tune, "Midnight Rider," plus a rerecorded "Long Song Comin," from Seger's 1974 effort 'Seven'.
Additionally, Seger put the finishing touches on a number of unreleased tracks, such as "Gets Ya Pumpin',"Star Tonight," "Wildfire" and "Days When the Rain Would Come" for the new album. Recording was done throughout September and October at Yessian Studios in Farmington Hills, Michigan and Kid Rock's Allen Roadhouse studio in Clarkston, Michigan.
